Protection d’un quai de chargement. Hager Electro Bischwiller | France – 2011

The town of Bischwiller in Alsace is regularly affected by floods in particular from the Moder, a tributary of the Rhine. The city has a Flood Risk Prevention Plan.
Hager Electro, german manufacturer of electrical components (transformers, home automation …) has a factory bordering the river.

When the Moder river rises above its banks, the water comes around buildings and floods the loading docks, preventing the plant to ship or receive products.

To protect loading docks against flooding, MegaSecur.Europe provided 200 m of Water-Gate barriers in fast implementation containers.

With a forklift and 3 people, 5 minutes are enough to install the flood protection facing the loading docks, which remain operational.
The company’s activity can thus be maintained in case of flooding.
